Encampment Resolution

Project Overview

The Encampment Resolution for Direct to Housing (DTH) initiative is an innovative and evidence-based model that uses principles from emergency management to connect people living in homeless encampments to direct housing opportunities.

Metric: House and retain housing status for 20 households

Why it matters?

Approximately 1,000 residents in Adams County experience unsheltered homelessness. The status quo for encampment response infrequently results in housing our unsheltered population. Concentrating all our services in one location and focusing on one small population should increase the likelihood of ending homelessness for a specific number of unhoused residents.
